Ordering

The quickest and most convenient way to order is by Email. Once your order is received we will return an invoice that includes shipping and insurance costs, as well as the expected time of delivery.
When ordering equipment please check the appropriate guide for correct sizes. Allow for shrinkage when measuring sizes of cotton uniforms. If possible, use the metric system when specifying any measurements.
Orders must be paid in full before delivery. Payment can be made by personal check (allow two weeks to clear), money order or major credit card through PayPal (3% surcharge). Make all payments to Dan or Jackie DeProspero or Asahi America.

All bow orders and special order items require a non-refundable full payment. All sales on bows and special order items are final and are non-returnable and non-refundable. Prior to shipping, an invoice will be sent showing the account balance plus postage and insurance charges. All accounts are payable upon receipt of the invoice. Items will not be shipped until full payment has been received.
Several items are kept in stock but it may take three to six weeks for delivery in the case of regular merchandise. Special order items and bows may take three or more months to receive so please plan well ahead.
Prices shown do not include domestic postage or insurance charges. Most continental U.S. shipping is through the U.S. Postal Service.
Please note that the photos in this catalog are only a sample display of the types of equipment and accessories available. We will do our best to honor your requests for specific colors and patterns but cannot guarantee identical matches. All equipment and accessories are subject to change and availability. Our Guarantee

Everything in our inventory, with the exception of our domestically made yumi, is handcrafted by the finest Japanese kyudo equipment manufacturers and master bowmakers at work today. All equipment is visually and physically tested before it is shipped to you and is guaranteed to arrive in perfect working condition. If you are not satisfied with the merchandise you receive you may return it in original condition within 10 days of purchase for exchange or store credit (see below). Refunds will be decreased or possibly denied if the equipment is soiled, damaged, or shows signs of wear or abuse.
Quality bamboo bows and arrows can be damaged beyond repair in a single shooting by inexperienced practitioners. Therefore, we cannot guarantee damage caused by the stringing of the bow or the shooting of the bow and arrows. Hemp strings should be used by experienced practitioners only and are not guaranteed against breakage. All iems are insured for shipping. Any damage caused by shipping is usually handled by the purchaser through the postal service or shipping company. When that is not the case the claim must be validated by the postal service or shipping company prior to filing a claim with Asahi America.
Our domestically made yumi are guaranteed against defect by the maker. Terms of this guarantee will be provided to you upon purchase of a domestic yumi.
Arrow fletching that is bent or curled in packing and shipping can be straightened again by lightly steaming the feathers and shaping them by hand.

Returns and Refunds:

All returns or refunds must be authorized in advance.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser unless the merchandise mistake is our own.
All refunds will be limited to store credit unless the merchandise mistake is our own.
All sales on bows, un-packed strings, clothing, special orders, unusual arrow lengths, or custom made items are final and are non-returnable and non-refundable.
